Sun Palace review: games, mobile, and trust

Sun Palace still feels like an old-school casino

That can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what you want.

Sun Palace has been around since 2002, which in online casino years is ancient. The site still feels like a classic US-facing offshore casino: bold promotions, RTG slots, video poker, jackpot chasing, and a design philosophy that never tried to become Scandinavian minimalism.

Sun Palace Casino pros and cons

Pros

• Long operating history since 2002
• Strong RTG slot and jackpot library
• Live casino content is available
• 24/7 customer support
• Good fit for US-facing offshore casino players

Cons

• Slow payout complaints exist
• Old-school design feels dated
• Offshore trust profile is mixed, not top-tier

Slots are still the center of gravity

Sun Palace is mainly a slots and jackpot casino. RTG has always been the backbone here, and if you know that ecosystem, you already know roughly what to expect: classic video slots, progressive jackpots, video poker, blackjack, roulette, keno, and specialty casino games.

This is not a boutique casino with handpicked studio content. It is a traditional volume-driven casino.

Live casino helps modernize it a bit

One difference compared with some older Main Street Vegas properties is that Sun Palace does include live games now. That matters, because without them the site would feel much more frozen in time.

Still, nobody is choosing Sun Palace because it has the world’s most advanced live casino studio setup. The live section is useful support, not the headline act.

Mobile play

Functional. That is the right word.

The casino works on mobile, but nobody would confuse it with a polished modern app-first casino product. It feels like an old desktop casino adapted to work reasonably well on smaller screens.

If your priority is quick access to familiar slots, that is enough.

Trust and reputation

Sun Palace has operated since 2002, but its long history does not remove concerns about player protection. Its current gambling licence could not be independently verified, and both Casinomeister and Casino Guru have raised concerns about the casino's reliability and withdrawal practices.

Casinomeister currently lists Sun Palace as Not Recommended, while Casino Guru rates its safety as below average and documents unresolved player complaints. In August 2025, the Michigan Gaming Control Board also named Sun Palace among operators ordered to stop offering unlicensed online gambling in Michigan.

Players should approach Sun Palace with caution, carefully review bonus and withdrawal terms, and understand that an independently verified gambling regulator may not be available to resolve disputes.

Who this casino actually fits

Sun Palace makes sense for players who already know and like RTG casinos.

Slot players, video poker players, progressive jackpot hunters, and players comfortable with legacy offshore casino environments will understand the appeal quickly.

If you want ultra-modern UX, instant mainstream trust signals, or cutting-edge live casino polish, this probably is not your match.

Final verdict

Sun Palace is basically a survivor.

It has lasted because it serves a specific audience well enough: players who like old-school real-money online casino play, RTG content, and a familiar offshore casino structure.

It is not elegant. It is not top-tier trust. But it is also not pretending to be something else.
