About Eino Vuoksela

Eino Vuoksela is my professional pen name. The experience and editorial work described here are my own.

My interest in gambling began with sports betting in the early 1990s. I was more interested in statistics, probabilities, and how bookmakers priced odds than in simply placing bets.

That curiosity led me to develop mathematical models for fair odds, particularly in football and ice hockey. One of my articles about value betting was cited in a 2012 Bachelor's Thesis at Aalto University (PDF).

Casino games brought a different set of questions. I wanted to understand RTP, volatility, jackpots, payout systems, and why short-term results can look so different from the underlying mathematics.

I still play casino games occasionally, but I see them as entertainment with a long-term house edge. At GoodWinCasinos, I aim to explain how games and casino systems work without hype or exaggerated promises.
